Marmax has recently benefited from working with RTC (Regional Technology Centre) North, partnering with Scale-Up North East and Supply Chain North East, who provided support and advice on scaling and streamlining our business.  

We have seen a surge in demand for our products due to the lifestyle change for more outdoor socialising and the need for more sustainability in purchase decisions. We are always looking for ways to develop our product range to keep up with market demands and improve efficiency in our manufacturing process. 

Working with the consultants, our vision and planning has been challenged and our staff have been able to access expertise to develop and facilitate ideas generated from all areas of the Marmax business. 

General Manager, Dave Johnson, said, “Marmax is in a transitional period, working towards the creation of a continuous improvement culture. Our operational team have had the opportunity to develop the tools and practices to effectively manage and improve the results from our product processes. The team now has a greater confidence to identify any problems and take immediate action to improve the efficiency of everything we do on the shopfloor.”
