Marmax and Volkswagen
Marmax was approached by Nikki Cawley and Mark Randall from Volkswagen’s HQ in Milton Keynes. They wanted us to work with them to create a circular activity combining the use of their waste plastic suspension blocks in our recycled plastic products, for use at their head office green areas and/or local schools in Milton Keynes.Volkswagen as a company have a strong focus on sustainability and the circular economy.

RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
The plans for a new teaching centre at RHS Garden Harlow Carr involved moving a large area of raised beds. The opportunity was taken to replace many of the old wooden raised beds with Marmax recycled plastic alternatives.

Welwyn St Mary’s C of E Primary School, Welwyn, Herts
Marmax Products outdoor classroom has been developed as a stand alone environmental area. This space creates an area for environmental learning, practicing eco policies and activities supporting the Eco Schools International programme which aims to help children become more effective citizens by encouraging them to take responsibility for the future of their own environment.

Graphite Resources, Derwenthaugh Ecoparc, Gateshead
Marmax Products Ltd has supplied outdoor seating for Graphite Resources new recycling plant at Derwenthaugh EcoParc Gateshead. A large balcony overlooking the entrance to the plant, used as a picnic and rest area, has been furnished with Marmax outdoor furniture. Marmax Rainbow picnic benches and brown traditional seats now provide year round seating. They demonstrate, exactly, the ethos of Graphite Resources.
