Rain Garden

The new Marmax Raised Bed Rain Garden was developed with dual purpose. Firstly to filter off rain water and remove the need for developers to create a pond to do this in developments, and secondly to create a feature of well watered plants. When fitted with a standard water butt connection adapter and a slightly extended connection pipe, the Marmax Raised Bed Rain Garden will divert all the small flows onto the soil and plants of the planter tray in their Rain Garden unit. There, some of the water will be lost as evapotranspiration, some will replenish moisture levels in the soil and some will seep out into the storage void beneath the planter, from which it can trickle out at a harmless rate. The Raised Bed Rain Garden is an ideal consideration for developers, allowing them to get more out of developable land by addressing the storm water issue, commonly resolved with the creation of a pond which reduces the available land to develop.
